Derope Controlled Descent Device

The Derope Controlled Descent Device is an emergency evacuation device designed to automatically control the rate of descent for application within industrial environments. The system consists of a centrifugal brake mechanism to which the traveling rope is attached, encased in a lightweight alloy body.

The Tractel Derope can be used for self descent or for two persons rescue. It is particularly suited to situations where vertical escape is necessary from structures such as mobile elevated work platforms, telecommunications structures, tower, gantry cranes and wind generation equipment.

• Up to 300 ft of descent for two persons
• Gives ability to winch a person up to a maximum of 26 ft

DEROPE MODEL UP E

• Up to 1300 ft of descent for one person
• Up to 330 ft of descent for two persons
• Bracket enables the user to secure the Derope on ladder rings
• Gives ability to winch a person up to a maximum of 26 ft.

DEROPE MODEL KT

• Up to 650 ft of descent for one person
• Up to 330 ft of descent for 2 persons
